Top-class speakers, international points of view
Europe's largest and most important congress for professional catering brings together around 1,800 industry experts every year to discuss the most significant trends, innovations and developments in system and general catering and the foodservice sector. As an established element of INTERNORGA, the International Foodservice Forum traditionally takes place on the day before the trade fair at Congress Center Hamburg and has long been regarded by insiders as the ‘industry class reunion’. It offers a unique platform for knowledge transfer, networking and inspiration – an unmissable event for anyone who wants to take on responsibility, shape the future or develop their skills in the catering industry.
The first confirmed speakers already reflect the wide range of topics covered by the congress: Yotam Ottolenghi is not only internationally renowned as one of the most influential chefs and restaurateurs of our time, but also as the author of eleven award-winning cookbooks. In a fireside chat about enjoyment, leadership, values and visions, the multi-award-winning celebrity chef will meet Andreas Karlsson, CEO of the internationally successful Sticks'n'Sushi chain of restaurants, which was recently named the best of the year in the UK. ‘For over 40 years, the International Foodservice Forum has been THE must-attend event for decision-makers in the foodservice and hospitality market. With impressive speakers and exciting deep dives during the breaks, attendees in 2026 can once again look forward to powerful inspiration, concrete solutions and valuable food for thought on the future of the industry,’ says Prof. Dr. Torsten Olderog, presenter of the International Foodservice Forum.

The combined power of congresses at INTERNORGA 2026
With its extensive supporting programme, INTERNORGA 2026 once again underlines the trade fair’s status as the top platform for innovation, knowledge transfer and networking in the industry. The Branchentag der Gemeinschaftsgastronomie will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the CCH on 16 March 2026. The focus will be on the opportunities and challenges of communal catering: from sustainability and digital solutions to food trends for daycare centres, schools, hospitals, care homes and company canteens. In addition, the inaugural FOOD FREEZING FORUM will take place in the Chicago Hall on 17 March 2026. This new event brings together practical experience from the industry and technology relating to industrial freezing processes for the first time. Further information will follow soon.
