The new partnership marks a change of venue concept for INTERGEO to better meet the industry’s needs: instead of convening at the same place every year, the world’s leading exhibition and congress platform for geodesy, geoinformation and land management will take place in Hamburg in odd years (starting in 2029) and take turns between two other leading German trade fair cities in even years as of 2028.
The two companies are planning to host their first joint INTERGEO EXPO and Conference in 2028 at a venue that will be announced in due time. Hamburg Messe und Congress will oversee the operational management of the exhibition. The INTERGEO Conference will continue to take place as a core component of the event under the operational and expert leadership of DVW.

At the same time, we have abandoned other plans in favour of resuming our proven concept of alternating between venues to a certain extent so as to strengthen our ties with our industry in Germany and across Europe.
