Gathering Inspiration On Site
A highlight in the field of renewable energy is the Energy@GET NORD area, which focuses on solar energy as well as the intelligent generation, use, storage and networking of energy within buildings. Exhibitors present a wide range of technologies, including photovoltaic systems and related components, solar thermal systems, energy storage solutions, integrated architectural solutions for roofs and façades, and smart grid technologies. The offerings are complemented by energy management systems, smart metering solutions, technologies for grid expansion, and charging infrastructures for e‑mobility. A visit offers companies in the electrical trades and the HVAC sectors, as well as planners and decision‑makers in the real estate industry, the practical benefit of gaining a focused overview of the latest trends—all in one place. This is especially valuable as the market for solar and renewable energy solutions is developing rapidly. “The strong demand for exhibition space and presentation opportunities—particularly in the Energy@GET NORD section—highlights GET NORD’s keen sense for future topics and trends, as well as the central importance of the energy transition for all trades in building technology,” says Anne Spielberg, Exhibition Director of GET NORD.
Networking Across Trades Takes Centre Stage
Another key focus of GET NORD 2026 is the even stronger networking of the electrical, heating, sanitary and air‑conditioning trades. Already two years ago, the diverse opportunities offered in this context were very well received. Building on this success, the upcoming GET NORD will once again feature the strong presence of its supporting organisations—NFE (North German Association for Electrical and Information Technology) and SHK Hamburg (Sanitary, Heating and Plumbing Association Hamburg)—at their association stands. “For a strong economy, both industry and trades require planning security. The upcoming reform of the Building Energy Act and the implementation of the EU Building Directive will introduce new points of emphasis. GET NORD is the perfect platform to discuss these developments with experts and industry insiders and to jointly drive forward the energy transition,” says Timm Göckens, Managing Director of NFE. Andreas Albrecht, Managing Director of SHK Hamburg, adds: “The HVAC trade is one of the most important players in the heat transition. At the same time, the sector assumes a crucial interface role with the electrical trade. The resulting need for close collaboration is reflected in the joint presence of the trade associations at GET NORD.”
