LogiNext Germany Showcases High-Caliber Conference Program and Exhibition Focused on the Future of Digital Logistics

Hamburg, 6 July 2026 – The logistics industry is undergoing profound transformation: artificial intelligence, automation, new regulatory requirements, and volatile supply chains are reshaping how companies plan, make decisions, and collaborate. Against this backdrop, LogiNext Germany, taking place on 2–3 September, 2026, at the Congress Center Hamburg, will provide a new platform dedicated to these developments, creating opportunities for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and fresh perspectives.

Over the course of two days, attendees can look forward to a high-caliber conference program featuring leading experts from business, academia, and government, alongside an accompanying exhibition where innovative solutions and technologies can be experienced first-hand. Practical Conference Program Addressing the Industry’s Key Topics

The conference program includes keynotes, case studies, and discussion formats covering topics such as digital resilience, sustainable supply chains, generative AI, automation and robotics, digital infrastructures, open logistics ecosystems, and innovation promotion.

Confirmed and planned speakers include Wolfgang Lehmacher, former Director, Head of Supply Chain and Transport Industries at World Economic Forum, who will explore the future of global supply chains in the context of resilience, sustainability, and geopolitical developments. Anna Lehmkuhl and Thomas Walter from the Otto Group will provide practical insights into data-driven logistics, platform strategies, and the transformation of complex retail logistics operations. Jennifer Beuth, Head of Intralogistics and IT Planning at Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML), will present the latest research findings and applications in automation, artificial intelligence, and innovative logistics systems, with a particular focus on transferring these innovations into operational practice. Dr. Melanie Leonhard, Minister for Economy, Labour and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, will highlight Hamburg’s role as an international logistics hub and discuss the political and regulatory frameworks shaping the industry's transformation. Michael Lütjann, CIO of the Nagel Group, will discuss how digital architectures are shaping the logistics networks of 2030.

Prompt-a-thon®: Experience Generative AI in Practice

With the interactive “Prompt-a-thon®” workshop, LogiNext Germany offers an additional highlight for everyone seeking hands-on experience with generative AI. The workshop will be led by Constantin von Brackel and Emir Kučević, Founder of Promptathon GmbH, a spin-off of the University of Hamburg, and will demonstrate how modern AI tools can be used effectively. Participants will receive practical guidance, develop their own use cases, and engage directly with the experts.

In the exclusive masterclass “Automation Journey – From Strategy to Success,” Frank Mester, CEO of MvR Digital Workforce, will demonstrate how organizations can strategically plan automation initiatives, select appropriate technologies, and achieve measurable results. The masterclass is designed for professionals and executives from logistics, transportation, IT, and information management, providing concrete recommendations and actionable insights for practical implementation. Following the session, participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas directly with the speaker.

Panels: Current Challenges and New Impulses for the Industry

The program will be complemented by high-profile panel discussions. The Logistics Initiative Hamburg is planning a discussion on resilience and critical infrastructure, focusing on current challenges and solutions for building robust logistics systems. 
In the panel “Sustainable and Digital: Shape the Next-Generation Logistics Operation Model Now!”, Moritz Petersen (KLU Kühne Logistics University) and Tim Oliver Frische (DVV Media Group) will discuss how sustainable and digital transformation strategies can be successfully combined. Additional panels, including contributions from the German Logistics Association (BVL), are currently being planned and will provide further perspectives on key future topics affecting the sector.

Exhibition: Logistics Industry Innovators on Site

Alongside the conference, LogiNext Germany will present a high-profile exhibition in which leading companies showcase their solutions for the logistics of tomorrow. Particular focus will be placed on innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence, platform solutions, port logistics, software integration, and digital supply chains.
